The beacon fires unconditionally on npm install, with no caller consent or configuration. The shipped index.js is a trivial stub providing no advertised functionality, so the manifest-level beacon is the package's entire effect. The host identifier of every machine that installs the package is delivered to a third-party OOB collector controlled by whoever provisioned the oast.fun subdomain token.\n\n---\n\nCredit: OpenSSF (source)","public_affected_ranges":["= 0.0.2"]}],"null_published_at":"2026-10-31T22:13:27.099Z","source_updated_at":"2026-10-22T09:31:54.000Z","source_disclosed_at":"2026-10-22T09:31:46.000Z","is_synthetic_fixture":false,"null_last_reviewed_at":null,"public_change_summary":"First indexed by Null; source disclosure date is shown separately.","null_first_observed_at":"2026-10-31T21:57:08.488Z"}],"next_cursor":null,"snapshot_revision":"42594"}
