The collected data is POSTed over HTTPS to the hardcoded endpoint collector.oob.s4yhii.com at path /_npm-poc/beacon, and a parallel DNS lookup to a labeled subdomain under *.oob.s4yhii.com is issued as an out-of-band beacon. The consumer manifest harvesting discloses the installer's private project identity and internal package naming to a third-party host and is the characteristic reconnaissance signal of a dependency-confusion targeting pipeline. The endpoint is not caller-configurable and there is no opt-out.\n\n---\n\nCredit: OpenSSF ([source](https://github.com/ossf/malicio","public_affected_ranges":["= 1.0.0"]}],"null_published_at":"2026-10-31T22:13:44.197Z","source_updated_at":"2026-10-11T15:31:14.000Z","source_disclosed_at":"2026-10-11T15:31:11.000Z","is_synthetic_fixture":false,"null_last_reviewed_at":null,"public_change_summary":"First indexed by Null; source disclosure date is shown separately.","null_first_observed_at":"2026-10-31T22:07:01.069Z"}],"next_cursor":null,"snapshot_revision":"42594"}
