The helper is exported on the package's public surface (module.exports.fetchDataFromSvg) but is not documented in the README and is unrelated to the advertised SVG image pipeline. Any consumer application that feeds externally-supplied SVG content through this exported function will execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the host process. The binary-encoding-then-eval shape is a deliberate covert execution channel with no legitimate role in an image-processing library.\n\n---\n\nCredit: OpenSSF (source)","public_affected_ranges":["= 0.2.0"]}],"null_published_at":"2026-10-31T23:18:22.414Z","source_updated_at":"2026-09-30T03:31:46.000Z","source_disclosed_at":"2026-09-30T03:31:45.000Z","is_synthetic_fixture":false,"null_last_reviewed_at":null,"public_change_summary":"First indexed by Null; source disclosure date is shown separately.","null_first_observed_at":"2026-10-31T23:13:53.199Z"}],"next_cursor":null,"snapshot_revision":"42594"}
