A separate beacon labeled 'rce-poc-v3' sends Node.js version, platform, and PID to the same host. child_process is acquired both directly and via a fallback that instantiates a new Module (new module.constructor()) and copies module.paths — an evasion technique to bypass simple require('child_process') scans. The package name resembles a generic accessibility helper, but the shipped registry entry performs host identity, network configuration, user, and environment-variable harvesting with no legitimate purpose.\n\n---\n\nCredit: OpenSSF ([source](https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/ae1ef40954ea15dd560720d58f647c9880afc699/osv/malicious/npm/a1","public_affected_ranges":["= 1.0.0"]}],"null_published_at":"2026-10-31T23:18:22.434Z","source_updated_at":"2026-10-05T00:30:43.000Z","source_disclosed_at":"2026-10-05T00:30:37.000Z","is_synthetic_fixture":false,"null_last_reviewed_at":null,"public_change_summary":"First indexed by Null; source disclosure date is shown separately.","null_first_observed_at":"2026-10-31T23:13:05.881Z"}],"next_cursor":null,"snapshot_revision":"42594"}
