The collected output is sent via fetch to the hardcoded URL https://unl9pgk6ei4uf80n5tf4iktspjvbuzkn9.oastify.com/ (Burp Collaborator OAST). The module also exports a Proxy mimicking Wix thunderbolt registry APIs (ensureComponentLoadersAreCreated, loadComponents, etc.) under namespaces such as thunderboltRegistry, siteAssetsRegistry, documentManagementRegistry, and editorRegistry, acting as a cover-story API shape consistent with a dependency-confusion or typosquat payload against Wix internal tooling. Installing or importing this package causes host reconnaissance data to be exfiltrated to attacker-controlled infrastructure. --- Credit: OpenSSF ([source](https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/a00eadccb320bc1163c7d818541cc
03 / Response
What to do next
- investigate
Identify the exact component and deployed version, examine the linked publisher’s conditions, and retain evidence of any mitigation.
Confirm current vendor support, compatibility and deployment evidence. This report has not tested a fix in your system. GitHub Advisory Database
A fixed release is not deployment evidence.
Check current vendor support and compatibility. After making a change, verify the deployed build and relevant runtime conditions. Keep the evidence, owner and time. An updated lockfile alone does not prove what is running.
