Dozzle label filters do not restrict container event and statistics streams
GitHub lists this reviewed advisory for github.com/amir20/dozzle. Published version ranges and source prerequisites are shown below; this is not an inspection of a visitor’s application.
This report has not inspected your inventory, configuration, deployed build, reachability or evidence. A catalog listing and a severity score do not establish exposure or compromise.

## Summary Dozzle supports per-user label filters in `users.yml` that are documented as an access-control boundary: "Filters are used to restrict the containers that a user can see" and "the `guest` user can only see containers with the label `com.example.app` … useful for restricting access to specific containers" (docs/guide/authentication.md). This is the mechanism operators use to give different users/tenants visibility into disjoint subsets of containers on the same host. The events stream handler `streamEvents` (GET `/api/events/stream`) honors that filter for the initial container list and for the incremental `containers-changed` updates, but it forwards two other channels — `container-stat` (live per-container CPU, memory, network and disk telemetry) and `container-event` (container lifecycle events: start/die/destroy/rename/pause/unpause, with the container's full attribute/label set) — to every authenticated client unconditionally, with no comparison against the caller's label filter. The upstream subscription `SubscribeEventsAndStats` fans out across every Docker client/host and never receives a label filter at all. As a result, any authenticated user — including one

What to do next
- investigate
Identify the exact component and deployed version, examine the linked publisher’s conditions, and retain evidence of any mitigation.
Confirm current vendor support, compatibility and deployment evidence. This report has not tested a fix in your system. FIRST EPSS
A fixed release is not deployment evidence.
Check current vendor support and compatibility. After making a change, verify the deployed build and relevant runtime conditions. Keep the evidence, owner and time. An updated lockfile alone does not prove what is running.
04 / Limits
What this report cannot establish
- Customer inventory, deployment, reachability and exploitation have not been inspected.
- NVD lastModified does not establish freshness of every associated CPE record.
05 / Provenance
Sources you can inspect
Each assertion retains its source. Mirrored records may repeat one underlying publisher; additional links are not independent corroboration.
