This report has not inspected your inventory, configuration, deployed build, reachability or evidence. A catalog listing and a severity score do not establish exposure or compromise.

### Summary Alist's offline-download feature (`POST /api/fs/add_offline_download` with `tool: "SimpleHttp"`) accepts an attacker-supplied URL, fetches it, and saves the bytes under a per-task temp directory before transferring to the user's destination storage. The temp filename is taken from the response's `Content-Disposition` header (attacker-controlled when the URL points to an attacker HTTP server), passed verbatim to `filepath.Join(tempDir, filename)`, and written via `os.Create` with no containment check. Go's `filepath.Join` calls `Clean` on the result, which collapses `..` segments and lets the attacker traverse out of `tempDir` to write any file the alist process can write. A non-admin user with `PermAddOfflineDownload` permission on any path is sufficient. ### Affected code `internal/offline_download/http/util.go` — filename returned verbatim from header: ```go func parseFilenameFromContentDisposition(contentDisposition string) (string, error) { if contentDisposition == "" { return "", fmt.Errorf("Content-Disposition is empty") } _, params, err := mime.ParseMediaType(contentDisposition) if err != nil { return "", err } filenam

03 / Response

What to do next

  1. investigate

Identify the exact component and deployed version, examine the linked publisher’s conditions, and retain evidence of any mitigation.

Confirm current vendor support, compatibility and deployment evidence. This report has not tested a fix in your system. GitHub Advisory Database

A fixed release is not deployment evidence.

Check current vendor support and compatibility. After making a change, verify the deployed build and relevant runtime conditions. Keep the evidence, owner and time. An updated lockfile alone does not prove what is running.
